OPTION 1: Small Metal hinges (1mm)
I experimented with the hinges as an option to flip the pages. This was done in order to provide a solution to the issue of the pages not being able to stand upright without any external support. The sturdiness of the hinges, solves this problem to an extent but however leads to other problems in terms of binding.
OPTION 2: Magnetic Tape (2mm)
This was a better option than option 1 but still had its own issues due to the thickness, further it hindered my aim for a seamless and professional look for the book.
OPTION 3: Drum Leaf Binding (250 gsm recycled paper)
This binding technique was the most fitting as it made the page sturdy enough while also binding all the pages together in a way that accommodates he reconfigurable nature of the book.
