Observations:
This entire process—from creating mind maps and brainstorming quick, illustrative ideas to using techniques like collage for editorial illustration—was incredibly insightful. It underscored the importance of a structured “process” in idea generation, rather than jumping straight into execution. Following these steps helped me uncover more unique and unexpected ideas that might not have surfaced otherwise.
The workshop also deepened my understanding of designing impactful editorial illustrations and highlighted the significant role they play in shaping public perception. Many of these techniques have versatile applications across other areas of graphic design as well.
