Design a set of characters for a new phonetic alphabet
Inspiration:
The Warli are an indigenous tribe of western India, their related ethnic groups are Konkani people, Marathi people living in mountainous as well as coastal areas along the Maharashtra and Gujarat border and surrounding areas. The image above is called Warli art. These shapes in the above image are symbolic of different elements of nature. The circle and the triangle come from their observation of nature. The circle represents the sun and the moon, while the triangle depicts mountains and conical trees.
NEW SET OF CHARACTERS
The design behind these characters are inspired by the “Warli”art form, as shown above. The pronunciation of each letter is slightly altered to follow that of an Indian accent (as Warli originated from India). It was interesting to see how the newly formed words and language create words having a unique design of its own, similar to the art language of Warli.
